We said we weren't going to do it, but Kathryn is enrolled in preschool. I think we just wanted to keep her close as long as we possibly could. She "made an argument," as she likes to say, that she needed to "learn things about words and science" so she can "be a grown-up soon." Gavin is sad. He misses his morning playmate. Daddy is sad. Mommy is sad. Why do children have to grow up so fast? Kathryn, however, couldn't be happier. She has new friends and really likes her teachers.
